Can’t update background image now?

    I’ve been using maintenance mode with ease and uploaded my own background image previously. I recently tried to update the background image and now I am no longer given the option to upload my own photo – just ugly web photos being fed to me with no other options. Did you remove this option on the free version? If so, can you re-instate for us?

    Hi,

    Due to popular demand, we added preset background images as backgrounds since version 1.75. There are over 40 of them at the moment. If you installed one of the older version of the plugin you can still upload a custom image, but not if you just installed the latest version.

    I will be happy too if we have the possibility to upload background images in the newer versions too.

    As a workaround, I’m setting a custom background image via CSS:

    
// Plugging Settings -> Advanced -> Custom CSS
body {
  background-image: url(path/to/your/uploaded/media.jpg);
}
