 * I’m not sure if these things are related but the first issue is the fact that
   I can’t update any of my wordpress sites on my VPS because im getting this error:
 * Downloading update from [https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/wordpress-4.3.1-no-content.zip…](https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/wordpress-4.3.1-no-content.zip…)

   Download failed.: Couldn’t resolve host ‘downloads.wordpress.org’ Installation
   Failed
 * Second thing is when I save a post i’m getting this error:
 * Fatal error: strtotime(): Timezone database is corrupt – this should *never*
   happen! in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-admin/edit-form-advanced.php on line 92

 * Hi danielmichel!
 * Have you tried using FTP to manually update?
 * As for the saving post, does this happen if you deactivate all your plugins?

 * Problem solved.
    This was actually due to W3 Total Cache.
