Can't update a Custom Post – WordPress 3.9 – 403 Forbidden

    Hi,

    When I go to update a word on a custom post
    http://mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=475&action=edit

    and click update it returns an error:

    403
    Forbidden

    If you wish to report this error page, please contact the website owner.

    If you are the website owner: It is possible you have reached this page because the server has been misconfigured. If you were not expecting to see this page, please contact your hosting provider. If you do not know who your hosting provider is, you may be able to look it up by Googling “whois”and your domain name. This will tell you who your IP is registered to.

    Steps:

    1) open an existing custom post type
    2) edit a field in the custom post type (about me section).
    3) This about me section renders in the body
    e.g About [types field=”first-name” id=””][/types] [types field=”last-name” id=””][/types]: [types field=”about-me” id=””][/types]
    4) click UPDATE
    5) 403 error returns

    Any ideas – it’s really harming our site as I need to do updates to profile pages and we can’t because of this error.

    OK so I might have found a work around..

    I my host and they said they needed a username and password to look into site – so I set them up one and a video showing error – then logged in via Chrome as them to try the editing and it worked.

    Must be a firefox issue.

    I dont think it can be a Firefox issue by itself. Maybe its an extension that you installed in the browser? I use Firefox myself and I never had that problem.
