   because “couldn’t connect to host”.
 * Is this going the same way as Automattics’ other abandoned plugins like EditFlow
   et cetera?

 * Nope, that’s more likely because the WordPress.ORG plugin server is having some
   problems at the moment (not specific to JetPack). Wait a while and try again.

 * Strangly enough, it is saying that it is trying to update from wordpress.COM 
   not wordpress.ORG.

 * Hmm, maybe I’m wrong about that one :)! In any case, the problem on .ORG is fixed,
   so can you try it again? And if it still doesn’t work, you could try updating
   manually.
