Can’t switch language on the Homepage

    Hi there,

    Here are then the main problems I am facing now:

    1 Meta description in English for the Home page and all the other pages in Italian as you can see here https://pasteboard.co/IFqEEgY.png

    Does this depend on Polylang or Google? I have checked already with the Yoast team and apparently it’s all good in terms of meta description!

    2 I noticed as well that if I am viewing the website in Italian and I am on the Homepage, the website doesn’t switch to English if I click on the flag. On the other hand, if I am viewing any other page from the menu (for instance Trip in Team) it switches to the English version of it when I click on the flag.

    The only thing I noticed if that with the browser language detect off in the Polylang settings, the website works fine. Is there a way to switch from italian to english and vice versa on the homepage having the browser language detector still on?
