    I just announced on my blog that people can subscribe and right away people are telling me it doesn’t work. I think I’ve deduced that people cannot sign up through their cell phones, and when I tried signing up on an iPad, it didn’t work. Only through desktop computers/laptops.

    Is there a work-around or fix for this? So many people read on cell phones and tablets. There has to be a solution!

    Thanks,
    Jennie

    It seems that you are using some spam protection plugin (i.e like JetPack/ Wp-SpamShield Antispam etc). There is a huge chance that these plugins are blocking the suibscribe process of the Email Subscribers plugin. Please de-activate these plugins and then have a check with the functionality.

    Also if by some reason you do not want to de-activate the security plugins, please use Rainmaker Form plugin to integrate Email Subscribers. PLease refer this documentation to integrate Rainmaker’s with Email Subscribers.

    Please let me know what works for you.

    @prathameshp From a security point of view, it might not be the best thing to recommend that people disable their security/anti-spam plugins. Both Jetpack and WP-SpamShield have a very large user base, so it might be worth spending some time fixing compatibility issues, instead of recommending people disable these. We have found some issues in your AJAX code that could cause conflicts with a lot of other plugins, because there is some deviation from WordPress coding best practices. We have a compatibility guide for plugin developers that may help. You can use the form at the bottom to contact us if you need help or have questions.

    @jenniecreates7 It looks like you’re using both WP-SpamShield and Jetpack. IMO you should not have to disable those. We do have some info about the Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin on our Known Issues and Plugin Conflicts page due to the issues mentioned above. We also provide some alternative solutions. If you have any questions or need further help, feel free to contact our tech support team.

    @jenniecreates7,

    First of all, would like to tell you that Email Subscribers plugin works across all devices (desktop, tablet, phones etc).

    I had a check with your form on this page and it is giving me 403 forbidden error (either on desktop or tablet).
    So can you please confirm if your WordPress setup has correct file permissions? You can confirm and fix that by following step 3 in from this article.

    Let us know your views on the same.
