I had the section ticked to notify me of failed logins. I unchecked it but the emails keep coming. I even uninstalled it and they keep coming. Please tell me how to stop this my inbox is getting hundred of emails a day because the other function of your plugin that limit login attempts from also does not work.

Hi, are you saying that even after uninstalling the plugin you still receive those login failed e-mails? If that is the case then your issue is not related to this plugin. You must have another plugin installed that enables this message to be sent.

This plugin only has a notification for lockouts and not “failed login” attempts. Which section in the aiowps menus are you referring to and what is the exact name of the setting?

Okay thanks. I just found a section in WordPress that I have never seen before under Settings “WP User Login Notifier”. I am 99% sure I did not enable this. Is it possible that it was added in a WordPress update and was enabled based on WP Security’s settings?

Hopefully my problem with floods of emails is now solved. Thanks for your help.

No this is not part of WordPress core or the aiowps plugin.
You have most probably installed another plugin which has that menu/feature.

You are quite right it was a plugin. Thanks for your help
