Can’t sign in anymore??

Everything is installed and as long as I don’t sign out, I can modify, update, etc. If I try to sign in from a different browser, I’m told the passwords don’t work, user name doesn’t exist, etc (when in the meantime, I have the database info with the host open in a different browser and KNOW everything is being entered correctly). Is it something simple I am missing? I need someone umpteen states away to be able to update this, not just me and any help would be appreciated.
