Hi @rebecaqs,
Our UPS Live Rates plugin applies by default the WooCommerce tax settings configured at WooCommerce → Settings → Tax. It means that if you ticked the Shipping checkbox for the specific rates here:
https://monosnap.com/file/Ybd4f5dOUv3Yo4PO8bhOR2NJKyiaiX
the tax will be automatically added to the UPS rates returned by our plugin. There is no need to select the Tax status once again for UPS Live Rates shipping method as it needs to be done for the Flat Rate.
Kind regards,
Luke
We don’t have the option to tick the “shipping” on specific rates, because like I said, we use an automated tax plugin, Quaderno.
All tax rates come from it’s API. And it needs to have shipping methods checked as “taxable” for it to tax the shipping costs.
Is something that can be achieved with this plugin?

Hi @rebecaqs,
From what you have written, it seems that the Quaderno plugin interferes with the standard WooCommerce mechanisms, overwrites the default WooCommerce tax settings and replaces them with its own tax rates. Our UPS Live Rates plugin is compatible with the WooCommerce mechanisms and takes the tax rates by default from the WooCommerce tax settings. If the WooCommerce tax settings are overwritten in any ways by the 3rd party solution, I’m afraid that applying the correct tax rates might not get well with those two combined.
Kind regards,
Luke
