Can’t Set Up Rank Math!!

    I want to import from Yoast but I can’t get past the first set up step.

    It keeps saying this:

    “Your WordPress Version: 4.9 | Recommended version: 4.4+”

    Please resolve the issues above to be able to use all features of Rank Math plugin. If you are not sure how to do it, please contact your hosting provider.

    What more can I do??!?

    Yes, i can setup properly but not work for me.

    i will optimize our keywords and content but my score are showing poor.

    Hello @elvinwebmarketing

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    We dropped the support for WordPress 4.9 back in August.

    You would need to have at least WordPress 5.2 and PHP 7 to run the Rank Math plugin properly. We did that as adding compatibility for WordPress 4.9 was making the plugin bulky.

    Also, you can still use the Classic Editor plugin with the latest version of WordPress.

    Thanks, strange because it is PHP 7.3 but something about the host was stopping WordPress from being upgraded beyond 4.9 but did it through file manager so all good now.

    Not sure if the wording in Rank Math needs/needed updating then since it said a minimum of wp 4.4 not 4.9. May be confusing?
