Can't set flat rate shipping options for each city

    I am on the flat rate shipping tab and I am trying to set up different shipping prices for each city. I tried putting these values into the shipping options box

    City1/ 6.95/ yes

    And then when I go down to Flat Rates: Shipping Class, i just says “select a class” but there are no other options showing up in the drop down. What am I doing wrong?

    The flat rate shipping method isn’t quite that sophisticated. It only lets you add multiple flat rates by shipping class – meaning you can only specify different rates for specific groups of items, not by where they’re going.

    There’s a great extension available that gives you lots of flexibility for multiple levels of flat rate shipping called “table rate shipping“

    It’s possible to code this functionality yourself, but if you’ve got several different cities, the above extension is the way to go, even if it is a bit pricey.
