Support » Plugin: Easy Forms for Mailchimp » Can’t set a form to single opt-in

I’ve created a form. I’ve set a ‘tag’ for this form.

In the box where I select the tag, I’m told that “Warning: due to limitations in Mailchimp’s API, tags are not currently supported for double opt-in signups.”

In the ‘opt-in settings’ for the form, I change “double” to “single” and press “Update form”.

However, when then checking the ‘opt-in settings’ again, “double” is checked once more.

How to make this work as expected?

    Hi @mastababa,

What version of the plugin are you using? Both of your tickets seem like issues we had with a previous version (6.5.1). These were fixed in 6.5.2.

If you’re on 6.5.2, perhaps there is a JavaScript conflict occurring. That is what we fixed in 6.5.2 and your issues look similar.

Let me know if you’re on 6.5.2.

    Thank you,
    Kevin.

I’m on 6.5.2. But, it’s in a multisite setup, if that makes a difference.

However, quite baffling, this particular problem no longer exists: I just again went in and checked the form in question, and its opt in setting is now set to “single”, even though I didn’t touch it since writing this support request.

The other issue (with the thank you message showing in English on a Portuguese site) still exists, though. Could that not simply be because the translation file is missing?
