Can’t select the blog home page

    I’m trying to create a sidebar that shows up only on the blog home page. However, this page is not available under any of the conditions.

    • Static pages: only shows front page, search results, and 404 page
    • Pages: Does not list my blog page (I tried typing in the name, and I tried typing in the ID)
    • Posts: I can set it to all posts / blog page and have the sidebar on the blog home page… but it is also showing up on the individual posts pages.

    So, How do I negate the posts and just have the blog home page, or how do I select just the blog home page?

    I did some more poking around in previous threads and found one, not related really, but mentioned setting the exposure.

    I set this exposure to archives, set another condition to negate categories, and it’s working just as desired.

    Great plugin, if you have the patience to learn the conditional logic — which is done beautifully. Anything with as much flexibility as this is going to take some time to get perfect in some situations.

    Great to hear that you got it sorted out! I understand that the conditional logic might be confusing with all the options. Is there something that you’d like to see changed in design or descriptions?
