    Hi,
I have a webshop that has it’s own local FB business account with a pixel setup. The actual FB page and Instagram accounts are owned by a global account which also has the catalog created that I need to sync the webshop products with. My local pixel is shared with the global account with full access permissions and I also have access to all global aspects with full admin permissions.

Problem is that when going through the integration process, the last step where I need to select the associated pixel, the pixel is not available.

So my question is (I’ve asked FB who can’t give me a straight answer on this) does the pixel have to be owned by the same account that has the catalog setup? If not, then why am I not able to select the pixel during the integration setup?

    Hi @maginem

Sorry to see you’re running into some trouble getting the correct pixel connect when setting up Facebook for WooCommerce.

To make sure I’m giving you good information here can you confirm if the local pixel is the one that you cannot select or is it the pixel associated with the global account?

Can you also confirm the pixel that you would like to select has been created through the business manager? If not this may be why it does not appear:

Please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist further!

    Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. The pixel was setup in the local account and has been shared to the global account. So when I do the integration/setup, the steps start with the global account, it’s just the pixel that I need to select is in the local account.
Yes, pixel was created in the BM.

Would it be possible to connect to the local account directly, instead of using the global one?

Ideally we were hoping to be able to do it the way we are wanting to, as the catalog is owned by the global account and the pixel is owned by the local account and shared to global. But it doesn’t seem to be possible to use a shared pixel. So we will have to create a pixel on the global account start new with that.

Hi @maginem. That sounds like a plan! Let us know if you have any further issues.
