    Hi there,

I’m creating some add-ons which should only appear when the previous add-on is selected.
I assume I can do this with the conditional logic settings, but when I’m setting a logic I can’t select a add-on.

    What I did
I created an add-on and if the checkbox is selected, I need an extra add-on to appear with 3 choices.
So I created a new add-on for the 3 choices. When I go to the conditional logic tab and make it available, I can set the display rules. “Show only if any of these rules match:” and then I have to select an add-on but I can’t.
When I click on the input box ‘select an add-on’ I get ‘select an add-on’ again in a blue bar, but nothing else.
So I can’t make the rules complete. Do you know why and how to fix this?

Thanks for your help in advance!
    Kind regards, Eve

  • Hi there,

I hope you’re well. About your question, the conditional logic rules only work for add-ons that are on the same block, so I suggest that you check that the add-ons you want to use share the same block.

If you still have issues, please send us a video or captures of the settings you’re using for the add-ons and blocks.

    We’ll remain at your disposal.

    Hi Facundo,

I created a new block with 4 options. If the first gets selected by the customer, the other 3 should become available. As you can see in this video I still can’t select anything in the ‘select add-on’ field.

    What could be the issue?
    Thanks for your help again!
    Kind regards, Eve

    Hi there,

Thanks for the video. The conditional logic rules work at an add-on level, so you can’t use the options of the same add-on to apply a rule, you can only use the values of another add-on.

So in this case you will need to split the add-on, so that you have an add-on with the option that will hide or show the other options, and then an add-on with the remaining options.

You can find more information in the following page of the documentation: https://docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-product-add-ons/conditional-logic/

    Hi Facundo,
    Thanks for your help again.

I made some changes and made a video again.
Can you please check what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks again!

    Hi there,

Thanks for the video. I checked it and noticed that while you created two add-ons for the options as I mentioned, you set them in different add-on blocks.

Like I mentioned before, to use the conditional logic rules, you will need to put the related add-ons in the same block. This way you have Add-on A and Add-on B both in Block A, and you will be able to set a rule so that Add-on B depends on the options of Add-on A.

    We’ll remain at your disposal.

OH! I’m so sorry Facundo, I get it now…

    Now I have a new question;
When I open the product page on the frontend the Block isn’t visible. When I choose the options in the Woo variations, the block does get visible.
All the other add-ons are visible from the beginning. Can I make this one also visible from the beginning?

See this page to check: https://noafurn.nl/shop/bedkasten/noa-bed-o/
‘matras grootte’ and ‘uitvoering’ are woo variations set with their own price.
All other options are Yith add-ons.

Hope you can help me again!
    Thanks in advance.
