Hi there,

I was running some tests this morning and I’m not able to get this to work. I installed a fresh Google Places API, and it verified.

However autocomplete is no longer working and when I set it for places, the user interface just comes up with Please Wait and gets no further.

Please let me know if you are getting any errors inside the console

Please also try to enable Google Maps Embed API with places.

Hi Varun,

I’m Still struggling with this, I enabled the Maps Embed API but no change in behaviour.

I also notice the verify button seems to verify just abut anything.

Please let me know which url you are using the plugin, we will inspect it there.
Verify button only to check if it’s a valid API key.
Please make sure, the site also has SSL enabled.

Is it necessary to have SSL enabled? It was working for me till yesterday.Not sure what changed

@newdimensions159 SSL is mandatory to use Google API keys.
