    Hello,

    I installed correctly the plugin,
It’s activated, and in settings activated for pages and posts.

Into my pages I don’t see the FB Pixel fields.

Into the page (edit mode) I checked the screen options but didn’t see any checkbox or FB Pixel plugin.

I also unlogged and re-logged to see if there is any change, but no.

So, for the moment I can”t entered the FB Pixel Code.

    Thanks for your help

  • Thanks for the info, all, and sorry for the trouble. I can’t reproduce the error on any of my sites, so I’m unable to troubleshoot it, unfortunately. Every site I try it on, the metabox appears without a problem.

Brian – Can you please tell me what hosts those 6 sites are on?

Also – If anyone has a non-production WordPress site that this plugin isn’t working on and would be willing to give me a temporary login for it, I would be able to troubleshoot what’s causing the problem. If so, please contact me privately, here: http://kellenmace.com/contact/

    Thanks.

Can you please reply with your web host, what version of WP you’re running, your theme, any plugins that when activated, cause the FCP metabox to disappear?

Any details you haven’t given me already would be much appreciated. I’m trying to figure out if this issue is tied to certain hosts, themes, etc. Thanks.

Not working for me either. Using responsive.

Just deactivated every other plugin, tried 2012, 2014 themes and plugin is not working.

Joining the crowd here – same issue. I’m using Bluehost, the latest version of WP, and the creativo theme.

Same thing here- installed it- picked my settings and STILL does not show up as a field in my posts or pages. I am using the current WP theme AND have Jarida 1.4 as WP them. Please help… Thanks!

Same problem. I have been through the steps except deactivating everything.

    WordPress – 4.1.1

    Hi Kellen,

I looked at the screen options and didn’t see anything about the plugin. I’m using an Artisteer theme. Tried all the options. No luck. Platinum SEO Pack is onboard too. I deactivated for a check and still no luck.

    I use Gator hosting.

Looking forward to the fix. I’d try a different theme but would you believe I just got rid of my spares the other day?!

    Thanks
    Norm

Those having an issue with the metabox not appearing in WP admin:

I have released an update to the plugin today that includes an update to the library used to display the metabox. Please let me know if it solves the issue for you.

I haven’t found any connection with this issue and certain themes, plugins, hosts, versions of WordPress etc. I’m wondering if this issue could be related to users running versions of PHP that are older than 5.3.0. If you’re able, can you make a quick call to your web host to ask what version of PHP you’re server is running and let me know? If necessary, having them upgrade it to a more current version is usually as simple as calling in and requesting it.

Thanks for all the info you have provided,
    Kellen

    HI Kellen,
    Download/activated the updated plug-in.
As soon as it was active this happened:

Warning: is_readable() [function.is-readable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/languages/en_US.mo) is not within the allowed path(s): (/tmp-www:/usr/share/php:/var/www/hostbaby:/www/mynameischance.com:/tmp:/var/tmp) in /www/mynameischance.com/web/wp/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 476

My favico also changed (strangely enough to an old one I had).
Deactivated and the warning went away. Correct favico came back.

So, for whatever reason, it’s still not working for me ( while the warning was in place, I still checked my product page to see if it came up and nope).

    Hi Kellen

    Downloaded the update.
    Synced database.
Still no meta data appearing for my (admin) Profile.
When I click on a Profile Avatar or link created by [usersultra_directory], it reloads the same page with no profile info.

    wp_usermeta contains appropriate data.
The no of users is displayed correctly.
Running PHP version 5.4.24 with Heatmap Adaptive theme.

I deactivated all Plug Ins and activated 2015 theme.

The only data on my profile page is my mugshot!

    Hello,
Maybe this will help. I had the same problem when I installed – couldn’t see the facebook conversion pixel field. Then I discovered that it’s because I unchecked the box next to the pages in the settings, as I thought it would add the pixel to all the pages.
So when setup, put a check next to “pages”, then you can go to a specific page to add the code.
    Hope that helps

Finally managed to find time to upgrade and test – and can confirm it’s working now. Thanks a lot! 🙂

Hi , I still have this problem I cannot see the option on the page. I’ve activated and deactivated many times.

    Could you please help me?

    Thanks

    Marinés,

Can you please watch the video on the main plugin page and make sure you’re following all the steps in the right order? It sounds like you may not have enabled the plugin for the correct post type, or have the FCP box hidden in the Screen Options menu. https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-conversion-pixel/

    Thanks
