    Hello,

    I installed correctly the plugin,
It’s activated, and in settings activated for pages and posts.

Into my pages I don’t see the FB Pixel fields.

Into the page (edit mode) I checked the screen options but didn’t see any checkbox or FB Pixel plugin.

I also unlogged and re-logged to see if there is any change, but no.

So, for the moment I can”t entered the FB Pixel Code.

    Thanks for your help

  • Jonathan – sorry for the trouble. What version of WordPress are you running on your site? Are you running WordPress multisite?

    Please try the following:

    1. Make sure the plugin is updated to the current version (1.2)
    2. Go to the plugin settings page to make sure Page and Post are both checked and re-save those options (even if you haven’t changed them)
    3. Go to Pages > Add New and click screen options again and make sure ‘Facebook Conversion Pixel’ is checked, then see if the metabox appears on that same edit screen

It sounds like you’ve gone through several of those steps already, but can you please try them again?

    Thanks,
    Kellen

    Hello Kellen,

    thx for the follow-up.

I’ve the latest version of WordPress (4.1.1) and of the plugin (1.2).
I followed your three steps but without success.

I even deleted the plugin and re-install it.

Still didn’t see it in my pages and screen options.

    regards

Same here.. not sure if it’s conflicting with any other plugins.. but the box is misteriously gone..

    J.W. & gopaulo,

Sorry for for the trouble – I can’t think of any reason that would be happening. Out of 7000+ active users, you’re the only two who have reported this issue. I would just suggest watching the video on the main plugin page to make sure you’re following all the steps correctly. Also, try to deactivate all your other plugins except this one to see if it works, then re-activate them one by one and refresh the edit page to see if one of them is causing a conflict with this plugin.

Thanks a lot for your interest in using this plugin 🙂

    Hi Kellen,
Sadly, you can add me along with J.W. and GoPaulo.

Followed instructions to a T. Did so a few times, to make sure I wasn’t on crack. The box simply doesn’t pop up anywhere, and neither does the ability to hide or enable within the “screen options.”

The plugin seems to install no problem, and you can see the different setting options. But that’s as far as it works.

    Cheers,
    Chance

mynameischance- Sorry about that. I have spun up a few brand new WP sites, created a few custom post types, installed this plugin and enabled those new post types on the plugin Setings page, then tried adding a new post/page/custom post type, and the FCP metabox appears without fail every time, as it should.

I would suggest that you deactivate all your other plugins except this one to see if it works, then re-activate them one by one and refresh the edit page to see if one of them is causing a conflict with this plugin. If all else fails, you may want to work with your site admin/a developer with access to the back end of your site to determine if due to some permissions issue or other obscure reason the metaboxes aren’t able to display on the back end of your site. I wish I could be of more help…I hope you’re able to get it resolved.

    Thanks,
    Kellen

I also have the exact same issue as above – can’t see FCP in Screen Option nor below any page. I tried on 3 different sites of different Themes but still not able to work. I have also deactivated all Plugins. Then only activated FCP plugin, add new page but still not working. Really don’t know what is missing.

For those not able to get the FCP metabox to appear in the WordPress Admin area – can you please reply with that theme you’re using?

Then I can find out if any conflicts exist between your theme and this plugin. Thanks for reporting these issues.

    Hello Kellen,
The theme I am using is called Lush.

Thanks Chance. Can you please do the following?

    1. Try to deactivate all your other plugins except this one to see if it works, then re-activate them one by one and refresh the edit page each time to see if one of them is causing a conflict with this plugin.

    2. Try to change your theme to one of the WordPress default themes (twentyfourteen, twentythirteen, etc.), then follow the steps in the FCP plugin video to see if you can get the metabox to appear. If if does, then your theme may be causing the conflict.

It would of course be best to do these troubleshooting steps on a site that isn’t live so users wouldn’t catch a glance of your site with the theme temporarily changed, or plugins not activated. However, if it’s not a high traffic site, you could choose to run through these steps late at night when you’re getting little to no page views, for instance.

Please let me know if by doing any of those steps, you’re able to get the metabox to appear – that’ll help me to troubleshoot the conflict for you and other users. Please also reply with your hosting provider and the version of WordPress you’re running.

    Thanks,
    Kellen

Same problem here, WP 4.1.1 (self-hosted) and plug-in version 1.2. Theme “Responsive”, Version 1.9.7.6, by CyberChimps.com.

FCP metabox doesn’t appear on existing or new pages.

will try to set-up another test with default theme but had the same issue with another theme as well.

Hi Kellen, no dice. Activated 2014 theme, nothing. Did the plugin deactivate dance. Also nothing.
    My host is hostbaby.com.
My version of WP is the latest: 4.1.1.

    Kellen,

Hi. I just wanted to jump in here as I’ve been having the same problem. I’m working with a client that has six different websites and I’m getting the same problem with all six sites.

The meta box is not appearing after the plugin is installed. I’ve tried changing themes and disabling all other plugins, but neither of those seemed to work. I’ve also removed the plugin and reinstalled it. I’ve used this plugin on several other sites and even did a write up on it (http://www.advertisemint.com/how-to-install-the-facebook-conversion-pixel-on-wordpress/) so I’m surprised to see it not working on all six different sites. Perhaps its the hosting company?

I’m on WordPress 4.1.1 and running Extensio theme. Here are some screenshots of the site.

I’d love any other options or suggestions. At a loss and trying to get it resolved quickly. Thanks!
