Can't see the other blogs dashboard

  • I installed wordpress multi sites. I can create a new blog in the admin sites panel, but can’t see its dashboard and see the blog.

I followed the instructions during the installation (copy the .htaccess and the wp-config.php). it does not work. Mod_rewrite is enabled. What happened ? Thank you.

  • Subdomain or subfolder?

    Are you getting an error?

This is a subfolder installation. I have no errors during the installation.
I copy the .htaccess + wp-config.php that wordpress gave me.

What was ‘it does not work’ mean 🙂

Sorry, but that’s the worst description of a problem.

Sorry, i mean when i create a new blog in tne network section i cannot reach the dashboard of the blog neither the blog in the public side.

And when you TRY to reach it, what happens? Do you get a 404 screen? A blank page?

You get how I need more information 🙂

    I have a 404 screen. I put this .htaccess :

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /auber/
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L]
    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

but it does not work. I have to delete it to access wordpress.
    Thanks for your help

Is WordPress installed in domain.com/auber ?

Is your .htaccess located in that auber folder?

Yes it is installed in this folder. It’s for an intranet.

The path folder is : /www/intranet2/auber/

I forgot my .htaccess is in that folder. Sorry.

Do you have an idea for my problem ? Thank you for your help.
