What do you mean by “but it doesn’t work”? Remember to choose your menu as the one which is displayed in the dropdown menu in the top left of that page.
As your using a premium theme, you should contact there support for detailed information.
Thanks for reply Marv. what I mean by ‘doesn’t work’ is that after adding the new page to the custom menu it still doesn’t show up on the home page.
I’ve chosen menu as the one displayed in drop down menu – still no joy.
I wasn’t aware there was another source of support for my theme – could you let me know what that is please? Really appreciate your help.

Please use http://www.woothemes.com/support/ when you paid for your theme, you also paid for support.
But that aside, I don’t really have any idea on how to fix your problem, do any other links show up in your menu if you add them?
If you remove any menu items, do they disappear from your site?

Bueno – my theme – is a free Woo themes one so not entitled to their support sadly!
I tried adding another sample page as an experiment and that’s not showing up either.

It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business or deprive them of any income that they may derive from support services.
Hi, I just downloaded that theme and they have two menus! Have you created two menus and assigned both to a slot? Then when testing check twice that your looking at the right menu.
(This was confusing for me when I installed the theme, I’m sry if this is very clear to you).

First to esmis point, this theme was given to you for free. However the company sells the support for this theme so when somebody helps with your problems here, we are killing that companies business.
But, what is “confusing” to you? My reply?
I was only trying to make sure you understood that your Theme has two Menus that can both be customized using the Dashboard->Appearance-> Menu Page. The page has tabs for each menu and in the top left you can choose which menu you want where in the theme to appear.
