[Resolved] Can't see my dashboard now that I changed my password and log in address

    @anraeel

    Due to hackers I got a new plugin that advsied me that I should change my password and also the permalink name for where I log in.

    Unfortunately now I cant get into my dashboard. It shows my website but it is not in edit mode. I assume its registering my new permalink because it shows the log in page and password because it does take me to the actual website.

    Can any give any suggestions on how to get the dashboard up.

    Thanks!!

    Normally, you login to your site at http://www.domainname.com/wp-admin

    I wasn’t aware that there was a plugin that would change the url of the login screen.
    Can you provide a url so that we can have a look at your site?

    Hello

    I found that I could log in via an FTP username and pasword. Excuse my ignorance, Im new to WordPress and all the set up.

    I found that the plugin was called – protect-wordpress-form-hacker.

    Is there a way of deleting it from the FTP way in? Or resetting the log in page from that way?

    Just letting everyone know that I didnt figure out how to fix the problem. WordPress access my file and made the plugins invalid, which is great.

    I believe the guy that fixed mine cleaned my .htaccess file. Or something like that.

    Thanks.
