Can’t search for Special Characters like “&”

    Hi,
    The search function does not search for special characters like &.
    One of the search terms is FF&E, but when you enter FF&E in the search it will display no results. If you enter FFE, then it shows results for the keyword FF&E.

    Hi,

    I tested by placing & in title and it is working fine.
    Please let me know what is “FF&E” in the post e.g. title, custom field, etc?

    Also, do no place & in the URL directly this should be encoded so please use the search form to search so the URL will look like https://hillco.net/wordpress/?s=FF%26E
