# Can't search for plugins

 * I’m using the latest version of WP, and whenever I try to search for a plugin
   via the dashboard, it keeps coming up with an error message, and that if the 
   problem persists I should post here.
 * Never had this problem with WP, and it’s very frustrating.

 * Is it a new installation of WP? I would try to re-install the latest version 
   of WP. You can do this via your dashboard.

 * I also have this problem. When I try to search for a plugin using /wp-admin/plugin-
   install.php I get an error saying that I can’t connect. This happens when I hit“
   Search Plugins”

   > this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the
   > support forums.
   > Try again

 * Nevermind 🙂 I think that happened because of the CHMOD on some files. It’s fixed
   now.
