    I cant figure out why I loose my scroll when adding an html5 banner to my wordpress “standard theme”, by 8bit. I used swiffy to convert the flash to html5. The url to the website is
    I tried this is Chrome, IE and Firefox with the same results, please let me know if you need me to paste in any code, thank you.

  • Where did you download that theme from?

    I bought it a couple days ago through here,
    but it doesn’t look like its available to purchase anymore since 8-bit just went out of business yesterday. I have version Standard Theme version 3.3.5 and wordpress version 3.6

    Yes 8bit went out of business.

    But theme is still available for purchase as i could see buy now. May be you have purchased already so its not showing buy now button.

    Now regarding banner. If the banner code is conflicting with the other codes all other code appearing below/after the banner code won’t work and hence no scroll.

    Try using other sliders/banners and it should work.

    Or ask the banner people who created it, if they have a jquery no conflict banner.

    Heres a copy of my code in header.php where I added the banner
    I shortened up the script code a little since it is so large

    [ 252 lines of code moderated, that’s just way too much. For that many lines of code please use instead. ]

    this is css problem..
    use this methods..

    html, body {
    overflow: visible !important;

    The Css code didn’t work when I tried to put it in both style sheets, here is my Header.php (had to shorten up the swiffy script)

    Here’s a link to my style.css

    Here’s a link to my rtl.css

    I’ll try the slider plugin and see if that resolves the issue, thank all you guys for the help.

    I had to put this project on hold for a while but just tried again with the above css and it works with firefox and IE 9, but not IE 10 or chrome Version 29.0.1547.57 so that’s why I didn’t think it was working at first.
    Any ideas on how I can get the scroll working ie 10 and chrome? I even tried putting ie 10 in compatibility mode with no luck.

    I reset my browser history and everything seems to work as expected with the css code you provided, thank you!
