Support » Plugin: AdRotate - Ad manager & AdSense Ads » Can’t schedule new adverts

  • Resolved elovkoff

    (@elovkoff)

Hi, I’ve have upgraded to version 4.1 and ran all possible maintenance tasks in Settings > Maintennace.

Every new advert I schedule shows after saving as january 1970.

I’m accessing the site through hosts file that points ip to domain name, if it makes any difference.

Please let me know if this can be fixed.

    Thank you.

Update to version 4.2 and make sure you click “finish update” if prompted.

Should I reinstall the plugin? If so – if I delete it – will it delete the database too?

    Thank you.

I understand it is a free plugn… what is the expected reply time?

Wow…. support on par with the worst plugins I’ve ever used.
I guess it answers the question whether I should consider the paid version of the plugin.

Sorry you feel this way. However, If you’d read the sticky Readme threat you’d know I don’t regularly check this forum and have other, faster, ways to get in touch with me.

AdRotate Pro users always have priority for support and stuff – For 95% of them I reply within 1 business day with a solution. This speed in support is part of the purchase you make. Everyone else can use the forum here, or on my website.

Keep in mind that AdRotate is indeed a free plugin, support is provided as a courtesy and there is only one of me, while there are thousands of you.

As for your question/issue with dates, check the servers error_log for anything that mentions AdRotate, anything is interesting. I’ve tried it on my test site and it seems to work fine there. So probably a database issue on your end – Which is logged in the error_log.

Will do. Can you please let me know – if I uninstall AdRotate plugin – does it also remove the existing database? (I’d like to remove it and install again.)

Uninstalling through the dashboard should remove all data yes.
