I was creating some forms using Forminator when I stumbled upon an issue when trying to make forms using the select component.
    Steps:
    1. Create a new form (I picked blank template)
    2. Add a Select field
    3. Publish/Save the form

The error that appeared was: “Something went wrong while saving your form. Please try again” and a 403 Forbidden is returned
It was working before and I’m using the latest version of the plugin

    Hi @svenh9l ,

    I hope you’re doing well.

Could you export your form using the guide on this link: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export? Once exported, kindly use a Cloud service like Google Drive, pastebin.com, or similar to share it. If you have sensitive data, please duplicate the form, remove it, and export the form.

I hope to hear back from you soon.

    Best regards,
    Williams Valerio

    Hi @wpmudev-support8,

I’m doing well thanks for asking.
I exported the form and put it in this pastebin.

The error occurred after migrating the site to my live environment.
I first thought it would be an issue with the forms itself, but even when creating a new form it doesn’t want to save. If there is more info you need, let me know

    Regards,
    Sven

    Hi @svenh9l,

To investigate the issue further, I imported the form to a test website. On the imported form, I was able to add a select field and save it without any problems, indicating that the issue is specific to your website.

As the issue began appearing after migrating to the live website, it’s possible that something may have been corrupted during the migration process. Could you try reinstalling the plugin to see if that resolves the issue?

If the issue persists, please perform a complete conflict test to ensure no other plugin or theme is conflicting and causing the issue. I hope the following guide helps you perform a conflict test: https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#conflict-test

Please ensure to take a complete backup of the website before further proceeding as you notice the issue only on your live website.

Please update us here with the results so that we can help you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi @wpmudevsupport14,

Thanks for your response. If I reinstall the plugin what happens with my already existing forms?

    Kind Regards,
    Sven

    Hi @svenh9l,

If you haven’t enabled the option to reset the data on uninstallation, then re-installing the plugin shouldn’t affect the existing forms and it should be intact.

Please check this for more info about the setting:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#data

    Hello WPMU DEV Support,
I reinstalled the plugin, but this did not fix the issue. There is an error in my dev tools console whenever I save a form that contains a select.

form-scripts.js?ver=1.37.1:123 Error: Request failed with status code 403
    at e.exports (form-scripts.js?ver=1.37.1:46:15858)

    Hi @svenh9l

Based on the error I see we have some cases like that from 2023 but the issue was never resolved as the user was not replying back. Please email us at: wpsupport@incsub.com
