Can’t save user_url into their profile on register | WordPress.org

Hi there! just as the title says, i made an url field with the “user_url” meta key, erverything (even custom fields) works and get saved correctly but the user profile is never saved, also tried with “url” but the WP documentation says it’s “user_url”.

Thank you for contacting us. ‘user_url’ is not part of the WordPress meta key table. Instead, it is saved into the WordPress user table directly. Hence it can not be mapped with the default WordPress website field.

How can other form plugins do it so? is there anything i can do? also there’s an “user_url” in the tables: link

We will be implementing this feature in our next week release. ‘user_url’ will update the corresponding Website field under user profile.

Now you can use ‘user_url’ as a meta key to update the Website address. Please upgrade.
