# can’t save posts

 * i was hacked a week or two ago by someone exploiting the wp-forum plugin … I 
   completely deleted the plugin, changed pw on account, upgraded to 2.3.3 …
 * now I can’t save posts — get a quick “done” response from the browser and a completely
   empty screen — makes me think of a permission or password issue
 * but — I *can* activate and deactivate plugins, change themes, etc., so it appears
   I can read and write the database
 * I think the problem occurred shortly after I changed passwords on my hosting 
   account — but I can’t remember that there is anywhere in /wordpress that relies
   on the hosting account password
 * any ideas? troubleshooting tips?

 * Having a similar problem although I don’t know that the site was hacked. Over
   the weekend, all of our plugins became deactivated and the pages (not posts) 
   were erased. I was able to ‘activate’ the plugins but have not been able to create
   pages or new posts. I get the same “done,” blank screen.
 * Any help would be great!!

 * deleted pages is also a symptom — i see there are other topics on the “can’t 
   save posts” theme

 * I found the file ro8kfbsmag.txt in my posts database, which means I was hacked
