can’t save EDITED page

    I’m using wp2.0.1 with SBC Yahoo Browser which I think is equivalent to IE.

    I wrote a page and when I viewed it; it had comments enabled which messed up my layout. So I went back to edit the page. I unchecked the “allow comments” box under Discussion but my “save” button isn’t working so it wouldn’t save my changes. What can I do?

    Get a new broswer! IE is bad enough in pure MS form, I can only imagine it’s been butchered further by SBC/Yahoo!

    I have had this exact problem in Firefox 1.5.0.1 and Safari 2.0.3. Very odd. “Save” and “Save and Cont. editing” buttons do not function. WP 2.0.2. Seems to happen only when editing Pages, not Posts.

    Try upgrading your WordPress to the latest 2.0.2 version, it’s possible that the bugs you are all receiving may have been fixed in the latest release.

    i thought it was the latest version… i just installed it yesterday via Dreamhost’s “one click” install method. I’m using WP version 2.0.2.

    Yes, 2.0.2 is latest. Does your browser have javascript disabled by chance? Just grabbing at straws…

    My “guess” is the advanced editor is conflicting. Turn it off and try again.
