• Hi guys

I am using the crop thumbnails plugin for my theme. When I upload an image I get the defined image sizes and everything works fine. But when i want to select a particular image size when creating a post or page I get an error in the ajax response. It tells me that I’m not able to modify the temp folder, which should’t be the case since the native image cropping and other things are also working. I also tried to grant all permissions to the temp folder. This didn’t work either. I’m using WordPress 5.3.2 and Crop Thumbnails 1.2.6

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

Hi there, did you try the plugin-quick-test (settings > crop-thumbnails)?

My plugin uses the folder wp-content/uploads/tmp for temporary files.

Hi, I got the same problem. I did run the test and it saids that is all working good.

When I select a custom image size and press the crop and save button it crops the preview but don’t select the croped size

@jesusquev3311 so, if the image is cropped in the preview your image size is cropped successful (and then its not the same problem as ranky1337 descripted). You may need to refresh your frontend to see the new image. Have a look at the faq to read more about it.

@ranky1337 did my tip helped you?
