    Hello there!
I’ve been using yoast and its breadcrumb functionality for a while with no problems, but with the last WP+WPML+YOAST SEO update, I can’t prepend the category in the breadcrumbs anymore.

I have 10 different post types, and various taxonomies. I can correctly prepend any other taxonomy, but when I select the “normal” post category, and I click save, the dropdown goes back to “none”.

    Any advice?

    thank you very much 🙂

  • Hello,

We’re having the same issue. For us, this appears to be a conflict with WPML’s ‘String Transaltion’ plugin. When we disable the ‘String Translation’ plugin, we can enable breadcrumbs, otherwise, we can’t.

We’re using the most recent version of WP / all plugins.

Would also be curious to get an update/ solution on this issue.

    Hi Radmkt,
    thanks for the input!

If you disable the String Translation, then update the breadcrumb settings, and then reactivate the string translation, the settings are being kept?

have you already opened a ticket on the WPML forums?

Good troubleshooting radmkt. Please keep us updated on what you find out on this issue.
