 * I’ve been trying to run the install.php script for version 2.3 to install a local
   version of wordpress. Firefox either asks for a helper application if I try to
   browse from File –> Open File
    or if I try to browse from File –> Open Location
   I get the following message from my Apache server:
 * >  Not Found
   > The requested URL /home/del/www/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php was not found
   > on this server.
   >  Apache/2.2.3 (Ubuntu) PHP/5.2.1 Server at localhost Port 80
 * I’m stumped. As far as I know Apache should simply send the script to PHP and
   it should install. Are there settings that I need to check/alter to make this
   happen? Permissions perhaps?
 * Thanks in advance for any help here.
