# Cant run install script

 * This is probably a very dumb question, but when trying to run step 5:
 * Step 5: Run the Install Script
    Point a web browser to start the installation
   script.
 * If you placed the WordPress files in the root directory, you should visit: [http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php)
   
   If you placed the WordPress files in a subdirectory called blog, for example,
   you should visit: [http://example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php](http://example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php)
 * I type www._mydomainname_.com/wp-admin/install.php into the browser (Chrome) 
   and all that happens is the browser downloads the install file and doesnt run
   it, what am I doing wrong?

 * The .php MIME type is probably not configured correctly on your server. You should
   contact your hosting provider.

 * btw I used ftp to upload all the files to my host folder
