when I fire up and press Restore on my new host it errors straight away with : gzinflate(): data error

    Darwin Backup: v1.2.9,
    PHP Version: 5.6.30,

any ideas how to fix it? I am struggling with these stupid wordpress files for 2 days now, FTP backup failed 5 times, this is my last resort before losing the lot

    thanks

    Hey,

Are you trying to restore over FTP ?

no just through the wordpress dashboard. I gave up on FTP’ing my backup because it just wasn’t working properly on the new host

this is all through the plugin page on wordpress site

Can you reach me by email aguidrevitch@darwinapps.com so I can both help you restore and investigate what’s wrong ?

thank you for the great support – in the end it was my problem. For any one else who may get this issue, it is down to FileZilla FTP transfers being sent as ASCII and BINARY, you need to set it to BINARY only otherwise your file will be all messed up.
