# Can’t reply?

 * When someone comments on a post within Mastodon, it obviously shows up in my 
   comments feed on my WP install – I assume that’s expected behaviour.
 * However, when I try to reply to any comments from within the WP admin UI, I just
   get an error that says “-1” – nothing else, just -1.
 * Any ideas?

 * It is a bug that it shows up in the comment section, because it is not really
   a comment to a blog post. there is a MR for that problem, but still “Work in 
   progress”: [https://github.com/pfefferle/wordpress-activitypub/pull/95](https://github.com/pfefferle/wordpress-activitypub/pull/95)
 * BTW. replies are not supported yet in general.

 * I tested the comments thing. This is the WP post [https://www.tromjaro.com/kaffeine/](https://www.tromjaro.com/kaffeine/).
   This is the one that appeared in my Friendica Feed [https://venera.social/display/7ce85237-42431f1fbf7652f8-979d3035](https://venera.social/display/7ce85237-42431f1fbf7652f8-979d3035)–
   I commented on the post with my Friendica account, but I do not see the comment
   on the wordpress post. Shouldn’t it appear in the comment section of the original
   post?

 * Ah ok, it landed in Spam. Wondering why… I still find it fabulous that that’s
   the case, and you can receive the comments on your WP posts. As I understand,
   if I reply from WP to the comment, it wont go back to the original message on
   Friendica, right?
