Can't remove header text

  • I’m in the process of updating the look-and-feel of my comicspress website. (http://www.kitfox.com/wordpress/) Right now I’m trying to replace the header on my website with an image. Unfortunately, comicpress won’t let me remove the static text that is currently there.

From within my Dashboard/Appearance/Header under Header Text, I’m unchecking the ‘Show header text with your image’ option and then clicking ‘Save Changes’. The page then reloads itself and that box has reset itself back to being checked. I’ve tried several times and that box refuses to stay unchecked. I also can’t just set the text to be nothing because there is no field on that lets me edit the header text.

This installation is a couple of years old and it’s been through a few WordPress/Comicpress upgrade cycles, so that may be a factor.

Any idea how to remove my header text?

Yeah, that option wasn’t there before for me when I created the header code, I need to add it to the new version, regardless if you go to the customizer there’s an option there to make the header a hot box area and or use the logo section
