I have unticked the Woocommerce Store Notice but a default store notice still appears.

When I inspect I see the following. Any idea why Woocommerce is still producing this notice when I have unticked the Store Notice option.

    <p class=”woocommerce-store-notice demo_store” data-notice-id=”313e283a33991086a682d7c11ae73808″ style=”display: block;”>This is a store notice! Dismiss</p>

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Do you have caching on your site?

    Hi @texashealthconnect,

If the store notice is still showing on your site, you want to:

    • Head over to Appearacnce → Customize
    • Once there, go to WooCommerce → Store Notice
    • Uncheck the Enable store notice checkbox
    • Click the Publish button

    That should get you sorted.

If you’ve done that and the notice is still there, I’d recommend looking at any caching you might have on the site as @auludag suggested. It might also be worth speaking to your hosting company about as they may be implementing caching on the server-side even if you don’t specifically have any caching plugins installed.

Thank you both for your answers.

I do have caching on the website but both purging and disabling altogether did not help.

@luminus The Store notice was already disabled but this still persists. I tried re-enabling the notice, publishing, disabling again and publishing. Unfortunately it still persists.. The weirdest thing is that the text in the store notice under Woocommerce>Store Notice is completely different than what is popping up.

Anything else I can do at this point?

@texashealthconnect it sounds like you have another plugin that’s responsible for the Store Notice that you’re seeing or it could be a setting within the Astra theme itself as the messaging is different from what you’re seeing on the screen provided directly by WooCommerce.

Please provide your sites System Status Report? You can find it by going to “WooCommerce → Status” in your site’s WP-Admin.

Click on “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it in at .txt file and upload that to Dropbox, Google Drive, or some other such service and then paste the link to that file here.

That might help provide some insight into what is going on here

Thank you for the detailed responses @luminus

It ended up being an old set of menus. I deleted the menus, published, and the notice went away!

Thank you for the info and for your time!

This issue is only happening on mobile and tablets only, not desktop at https://www.southpinecafe.com. Even after going into the customizer, checking the enable store notice box and unchecking it then publishing the change, the issue persists.

That worked for me. Thank you!!
