can't reinstall any plugins

    Recently got error message that all my plugins were missing heaaders. All had vanished from my installed plugins list. Can’t reinstall, get error message e.g:

    Installing Plugin: Share Buttons by AddThis 3.1
    Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/addthis.3.1.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. C:/domains/jamessquirrell.com/wwwroot/wp-content/plugins/addthis/

    Plugin install failed.

    Can’t find this folder to delete it.

    Any suggestions what I should do?

    Download all of the plugins to your computer. Unpack theme and upload each of the plugin folder to wp-content/plugins using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Thanks for the helpful suggestion. Using FileZilla I deleted the old plugin directories and was then able to re-install the plugins from within WordPress.
