Title: Can't Pull First Two Items Using Shortcode Last modified: August 22, 2016 --- # Can't Pull First Two Items Using Shortcode * Resolved [Jonathan Goldford](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jg-visual/) * (@jg-visual) * [11 years, 8 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-pull-first-two-items-using-shortcode/) * We are trying to grab the first two items from the feed at [http://jewishinstlouis.org/calendar/category/jfed/hmlc/feed/](http://jewishinstlouis.org/calendar/category/jfed/hmlc/feed/) using this shortcode: * `[wp_rss_multi_importer thisfeed="2" sortorder="1" showgroup="0" category="1" datestyle="font-style:italic;" hdsize="16px" hdweight="600" excerptlength="15" morestyle=" More >>"]` * For some reason the shortcode puts them in the correct order, but grabs the last two items from the feed instead of the first two.
