Support » Fixing WordPress » Can't publish or update posts on Chrome

  • This just started a couple days ago. I’ve tried fully clearing history and cache as well as restarting my computer. I can publish in Firefox and IE, however the admin panel is totally different and doesn’t seem to show all my options and plugins. An event/calendar plugin for example, which I use a lot.

I received an email that WP was upgraded to 4.3.2 on 01/07, however I have published and updated posts since then so not sure that has anything to do with it.

I’m using Win 8.1 and Chrome 47.0.2526.106 m, hosting via BlueHost.

Updated to WP 4.4.1 and updated all plugins, still can’t publish or update posts.

CORRECTION: I cannot publish or update in any browser. Not sure what interface I was on but once I went to the WordPress Admin Panel it won’t allow me to post anything.

Thanks for the help on this. /s 🙂

If anyone else has the issue I found the problem was a conflict with the Ecwid Shopping Cart plugin. I talked with Ecwid support and they quickly issued an update that corrected the problem

thanks for the feedabck, as chrome is using the same frame as firefox and a lot of browsers on many oses.
