I’ve updated all plugins and wp to the latest version. I’ve attached the system report at the end.

The problem is that I can’t make a payment on my site as the payment methods are grayed out regardless of my browsers and OSs. I’ve tried Androids, iOs, Win10 and others along with local network and VPN, but the issue remains the same.

When an item is added to cart, the checkout button takes me to checkout page where I shall fill in some forms of my shipping info. No matter whether the forms are completed or not the “proceed to paypal” button remains gray. Weirdly when the checkout page is not fully loaded the buttons are clickable – while clicks only turn out to be a warning saying:

Billing First name is a required field.
Billing Last name is a required field.
Billing Phone is a required field.

When I started to fill in the forms, the page was fully loaded and then, grayed out.

Paypal plugin has been set correctly and API certificates are valid. I also activated some other payment methods for testing purpose. NONE WORKED.

    Hi there,

This certainly sounds like something is conflicting with WooCommerce. Here’s how to test:

First, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    Best,

    Ross

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Hi Guys,

I have exactly the same issue and deactivating all my plugins (except Woocommerce, Woocommerce Stripe Gateway and Woocommerce Paypal Gateway) didn´t solve the problem. I already use Storefront theme as my default theme so that´s not going to solve the problem either. Can anybody help me please?

You can go to this page http://www.fortispublishing.co.uk/latest-release/ and if you place a book in your cart and proceed to checkout, you´ll see what I mean.

I´d really appreciate it if anybody could help me.

    Thank you!
    Reinette

Hi reniette, did you manage to solve the problem?

    Thank you
    Elina

I am also experiencing this issue. I have deactivated all plugins except just Woocommerce, and am using the Storefront theme. Still, though, I can’t seem to proceed past the checkout page. It keeps working and then not working and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to when or how it works. I’ve reset my site to its normal settings and active plugins, but you can see it at https://rayleebooks.com/

Hi Did anyone find a solution to this?

In my case it was a faulty theme so theme developers had to work on the solution.

In my case it was an issue where my website was secure (https) but the link still listed in my settings for my WordPress page was still unsecure (http). I fixed that and stopped having the issue.

In my case it was a plugin conflict. Thanks for sharing your solutions here!
