can't parameter Demo slider on home page ?

    Hello all,

    I’d like to have the same slider as the demo slider on home page, i mean one picture + picture overlay. But i do not know how.

    I can use Meta Slider on the home page but i see nothing about “picture+picture overlay”.

    A workaround could be to copy my own pictures to:
    * /themes/vantage/slider/backgrounds/slide-responsive-overlay.png
    * /themes/vantage/slider/backgrounds/slide-4.jpg
    * /themes/vantage/slider/backgrounds/slide-plugins-overlay.png
    * /themes/vantage/slider/backgrounds/slide-1.jpg

    and to choose the option “demo slider”. But i guess it’s ugly 😉

    Any advice ? thanx!

    At the moment, the best way to get something like the demo slider is to upgrade Meta Slider to Meta Slider Pro.

    I’m going to chat to the guys at Meta Slider and find out if there’s a good solution for this in the free version of their plugin. They’re a great team, I’m sure we’ll be able to come up with something.

    I’ll get back to you as soon as I’ve had the chance to chat with them.

    There’s now a good solution to creating your own slider that appears just like the demo slider using the free version of Vantage and Meta Slider.

    This requires the latest version of Vantage. The update is in the approval queue. It should be available in 3-4 days or you can download the latest version from SiteOrigin.
