# Can’t optimize firewall

 * I am having trouble optimizing the firewall. I’m using LiteSpeed Web Server/Lsapi
   with php 8.1. I have attempted the troubleshooting steps but it didn’t work.
 * I have submitted a diagnostic report.

   your diagnostic over!
 * I have seen there that the `auto_prepend_file` is indeed not active, although
   there seem to be no other connectivity problems, and even a scan result that 
   Litespeed Cache plugin needs to be updated so it seems that the scan isn’t timing
   out.
 * When you say that you’ve tried troubleshooting steps, did that include attempting

 * Hello,
 * Yes, I did try the manual setup but it also didn’t work, so I went back to the
   auto setup.
