Support » Plugin: Editorial Calendar » Can't make it work. Ack.

  • Wow, this looked like the perfect solution to my problem. But it may not be meant for what I’m trying to do.
I have a new blog & 6 posts ready to go, but they need to ordered differently. I tried changing the dates of the posts and that did nothing — they posts are private right now because I don’t want to publish until the posts are correct.
The calendar appears where it should be, but none of my posts show up. Is that because they need to be entered on the calendar before I write them, or could there be another problem? Should I copy and paste everything and attempt to repost so as to add the posts to the calendar/

I can’t include a link to my site, as it isn’t up yet — but if we can figure this out, I’d love to share.

Thanks so much for creating this plugin — even if it doesn’t work for me I know a large number of bloggers who will be delighted to discover this.

    Hi Deb,

Thanks for trying the Editorial Calendar. All of your posts should show up in the calendar. You don’t have to add them there.

You might want to check out the video on our main plugin page to get an idea of what the calendar should look like when it’s working well.

If your calendar isn’t working the way it should then it may be having an error. These errors are most commonly caused by conflicts with another plugin. You might try disabling the other plugins on your blog to see if it resolves the problem.

If you’re still having issues please respond here and we’ll take a look.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I’ve already checked plugin compatibility, but it could be I need to try it again in case I missed something.

I appreciate your answering me so quickly.
