  • My site is working fine, but I can’t login to wp-admin.

My plugins are up to date, and I tried removing them all but that didn’t make a difference.

I changed the name on my child-folder, which solved to problem for a while, unless then of course my site doesn’t look as I want it to. What should I change to make this permanently work?

    Thank you!

  • When you say you changed the name of your “child-folder” do you mean the name of your child theme’s folder, in wp-content/themes?

If so then it means something is broken in that theme. It could be any number of things though. Were there any error messages displayed before you fixed the issue? These could provide a hint towards solving your problem.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I meant my child theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. There were no error messages.

What should I be looking for?
