  • Hello,

May be your site compromised. Deactivate the theme or rename the wp-admin folder on root directory and then take a try to login. Also turn on the debugger.

It may be possible redirection implement on the login URL.

It might be iThemes issue. Also, you’re running WP 4.6. Not good. You could try to manually update it. Make backup first!!!

That is not a standard WP login. Have you tried:
-deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

You can deactivate the plugins using the file manager provided by your host and rename wp-content/plugins to wp-content/plugins-old. You can do the same with your theme. Rename TheNotesLite to TheNotesLite-old

After WordPress automatic upgrade around 22 April 17 I could not access the website or WordPress dashboard with same error message. That message was also in the error log obtainable by ftp or my host’s control panel file manager. The message was:
“PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/mha19429/public_html/wp-includes/rest-api/class-wp-rest-server.php on line 301”.
I finally resolved after a lot of frustration by replacing the file identified in the error message with the same file from my last backup. Instant success! I hope this might help you.
I have since compared the two files and the WordPress automatic upgrade file stopped at line 301. The backup file was the same up to line 301 but was in total 1312 lines of code so somehow the rest of the file had got lost in the automatic upgrade. No good marks to WordPress here and I would be interested if WordPress can explain.
    Good luck

Thanks everyone…I figured out the issue. The disk was full :-p.

Thanks to @torontodigits…I turned on debugging and saw that there was a WordPress Sql Error:
WordPress database error Got error 28 from storage engine

So I deleted a HUGE old backup on my system, freed up some space and the issue was resolved.

Thanks to EVERYONE who replied. I was blown away by your helpfulness.

My site is also experiencing this issue. I have tried several steps. I have renamed the plugins, theme in ftp session. Nothing worked. Can I have assistance?

What do I need to provide for help?

How do I turn on debugging to see what might be the cause.

I’m getting the same problem when trying to login to my wp-admin for my website I keep getting error 404 page cannot be found ?

It also happens now when trying to go the site directly ?

I am also having the same issue but can’t even access my site to change the theme or anything. I’m also not very techy and don’t know how to change the code. I turned on debugging and turned off the plug ins with no luck.

Any other suggestions or basic steps I could take to fix this?
