Can't login to my localhost CPanel after installing the plugin

Hello –
I think the issue can be minor, but again I could be over simplifying it – so yesterday I installed the plugin and in the setup, I set up a strong password for it, which I used to log back in – But today, it seems that I have effectively locked myself out – I tried the email bit to recover/change the password, althought I get the message to check the email for a link to change the password, I get no emails. So, I am at a loss at this point and need help on how I can either bypass this plugin so that I can login back as admin, or a way to get it to send me the email/link, or simply and hopefully another way for me to get to my site. Again, this is local host, running XAMPP and wordpress 3.8 installation, Twenty Fourteen theme… thanks
