Can't Login to dashboard after cleaning my browser history (chrome)

Hey folks , I was developing/working on my wordpress site installed on WAMP until yesterday when I cleared my browser history and now cannot login to my wordpress dashboard ! It is giving ERROR as ERROR: Invalid username. despite entering my credentials correctly.
Also when I am trying to recover my password using ‘forgot password’, the message ‘The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.’ is displayed !

What to do ? Please HELP. I really need to login to my dashboard.
