[Resolved] can't login. login.php returns to itself
Problem: I can’t login http://www.technobiography.com/wp-login.php .
When I enter “admin” and the correct password, browser returns me to http://www.technobiography.com/wp-login.php .
No errors shown on screen. Browser just the same login page.
Please help. Thanks!
Last known actions before problem appeared:
1.) updated to latest WordPress version circa April 10, 2012 . Used the auto-update on dashboard.
2.) When logging in this morning, I noticed this pop-up (something like): “Google Chrome wants to use your confidential information stored in “technobiography.com” in your keychain. Do you want to allow access to this item?”
Options: “Always Allow” “Deny” “Allow” .
For a few times, I clicked on “Allow”. I was given the same login.php page. Around attempt #5, I clicked “Always Allow”. Now I am having the problem as described above.
3.) Activated CloudFare for technobiography.com via Dreamhost.com where my blog resides.
a.) changed admin password: http://www.village-idiot.org/archives/2007/05/22/wp-emergency-password-recovery/
b.) deactivated plugins: http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F
c.) deactivated cloudfare (may take a few hours to propagate dns)
Note: The same problem occurs using Chrome and Safari.
