Are you absolutely sure the file is replaced – also, please clear and disable any caching plugins.
To be sure, you can delete the folder, and reinstall from this zip:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-simple-firewall.zip
I’m checking caching plugins at the moment
Ok, overwriting GaspJs.php and clearing the cache solved the problem 🙂
Can you help with this problem with your software?
Only on another site it doesn’t help 🙁 Replace file and clear cache but doesn’t work 🙁
Update: Ok, it took some time. It’s working, i think 🙂

Please recheck, retry again, and/or reinstall from the ZIP link I gave you. Without more details, we can’t help.
Simply telling us it doesn’t work, wont help us guide you.
All the same previous questions apply – are you using any other plugin or theme to modify your login page etc?
The best solution is to ask hosting support to delete this plugin.

@rentijer
You could have applied the fix we offered, or upgrade to 9.0.1.
@krzxsiek
As soon as you have any problems, the first thing to do is remove any auto-optimisation plugins:
https://onedollarplugin.com/blog/5-golden-rules-wordpress-site-optimisation/
Also – that plugin is over 3 years old since its last update!
I did. After that my site was locked.

Actually Paul, the path to BaseProtectionProvider.php
may not be as outlined.
On my end it is located in /wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/src/Modules/LoginGuard/Lib/AntiBot/ProtectionProviders
Thanks for the fix. 🙂

@rentijer it is literally impossible that a WordPress plugin could block FTP. You will need to discuss these issues with your host – as you suggest, probably best to get them to completely delete the plugin.
